Confirmation is when a person affirms the baptismal vows that were made on his/her behalf by their parents and sponsors at the time of their baptism. Confirmation usually takes place when a person is about 14 years of age and after two years of special instruction. Confirmation instruction is held on the third Sunday of each month (Sept thru May) after the 10:30 service.
Confirmation at Christ Church means that:
- I am now old enough to speak for myself
- I CONFIRM the vows and promises that were made for me at my baptism
- I CONFIRM my desire to live as a Christian adult with the rites and privileges of full membership in Christ Church.
